Welcome! So glad you’re here. Reaching out to a counselor can feel scary and overwhelming. Whether you are going through something really intense right now or wanting to sort through some things from your past, I believe counseling is incredibly beneficial. I’d be honored to walk alongside of you during this time.
I am a both a mental health counselor and a Christian. I enjoy integrating faith & therapy when the client is interested in that. I also provide traditional counseling when the client is not interested in integrating faith. I work from a person-centered framework using the therapeutic approaches of CBT(cognitive behavioral therapy), ACT(acceptance and commitment therapy), and family systems therapy. I believe in a holistic approach to mental health that includes body, mind, & soul and I seek to integrate all three in the counseling process. Additionally, I believe every person is unique, and the therapeutic approach should be tailored specifically to each client.
